Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Egypt , arrive to Cairo airport , Cairo ON

Arrival to Cairo airport, Upon you arrival you will find our Nile Booking representative waiting you with a sign with your name on , then you will be transferred by an A/C car to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids / Egyptian Museum, Cairo ON

Have your breakfast at the hotel , then our Nile Booking guide will pick you up to .start your day by visiting the Egyptian Museum of antiquities. On display is a rare collection of 5000 years of art the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artefacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to the Tutankhamen collection of treasures, gold, and jewellery, as it was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated.
Visit the Great Giza Pyramids – Cheops, Chephren & Mykerions. Cheops is the most colossal ever built. Next is a close-up look at Sphinx – a huge funeral complex guarded by the legendary lion body with the face of king Chephren.
Back to the hotel & overnight in Cairo.

Day 3: Alexandria day tour , Cairo ON

Have your breakfast in your hotel then our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel to start your tour to Alexandria. Start the tour with the library of Alexandria; the biggest library in the world – now with 8 million books. Visit it’s open court and free museums.
Note: Alexandria Library is closed on Fridays and on every public holiday. To enter the reading area you will need to purchase an extra ticket.
Then visit the Site of the Lighthouse; one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World on which now stands the castle of Qaitbey. Visit the royal gardens of King Farouk (the last king in the history of Egypt) and see the royal palaces of Haramlek and Salamlek as well as the royal beaches of the queens., as well as the memorial of the Unknown Soldier of Alexandria and the statue of Alexander the Great.
You can then stop for lunch before visiting the church of St. Mark – the oldest church in Africa before driving along the Cornish (30 km) to see the whole city of Alexandria from the sea side which includes the old harbour of Alexandria where we found 7000 monuments underwater.
Alexandria has so much to see, feel, eat and buy so if you have time and want to add more to your itinerary – just let us know what you are interested in and we will arrange it for you at the cost price – no profit to us. Travel in comfort back to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 4: Fly to Luxor , visit the temples , Luxor ON

After you have your breakfast your Nile Booking Representative will pick you up to Cairo Airport to get your Domestic Flight to Luxor , upon arrival to Luxor our representative will meet you then you will start your day with your tour guide it’s the tour to the West Bank . A fantastic trip to the Necropolis of Thebes. Crossing the Nile, drive to the Valley of Kings; visit the tombs of various Dynasties , the colours there are outstanding , it’s a wonderful trip to visit the great Pharaohs in their homes of eternity .
The Temple of Deir El Bahari known as the temple of the Queen Hatshepsuet , the construction and its everything is unbelievable , the colours , the statues of the queen its all magical. On the return journey stop at the Colossi of Memnon which are two gigantic sitting statues representing Amenhotep III facing the Nile. Then you will continue the tour , going to the east bank of Luxor to visit the Karnak Temples, the greatest example of worship in history and was dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu.
It was constructed from the beginning of the Middle Kingdom to the Greco Roman Kingdom. Then visit Luxor Temple. It was built by Amenhotep III in 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and it was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. King Ramses II was the most famous king in the 19th Dynasty. He ruled Egypt for about 67 years. It was dedicated to the great god Amun-Ra, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu together representing the Theban triad. Enjoy visiting Obelisk of Ramses II in front of the 1st Pylon.
Transfer to the hotel & overnight in Luxor.

Day 5: Aswan, Philae temples, the High Dam, Aswan ON

After your breakfast you will have your transfer to Aswan by train. Arrival, and transfer to the hotel. Start your Aswan day tours of High Dam this amazing project that saved Egypt from the destructive Nile floods , it also produces big amount of electricity , there also you will have a good view at the lake Nasser. After the tour there you will also visit the Temple of Philae Island Sail to the island of Agilkia. Visit the temple that was removed from their original island of Philae which lies submerged most of the year by the waters of Lake Nasser. The main Temple of Isis and its monuments were built between the 26th-dynasty and the Roman period, the peace there , the beauty there is amazing.

Day 6: Aswan / Cairo

Breakfast, Free day – optional activities: Abu Simbel Trip
Departure to visit the Temple of Abu Simbel, The colossal Temple of Abu Simbel built by Ramses II (Nineteenth Dynasty) and lately saved from inundation of the Nile waters in among the glories of ancient Egyptian monuments. The temples were built out of a sandstone rock cliff, and representation of the deities to which each was dedicated is carved on its huge façade. Nearby, also saved, lies the small Temple of the King’s wife Nefertari, dedicated to the goddess Hathor. Back to Aswan.
Transfer to take the flight to Cairo. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 7: Final Departure

After breakfast, you will be transferred Airport for final departure.
