When you arrive in Cairo for the start of your 5 Day Cairo Luxor Tour, your tour manager will meet you at Cairo International Airport and assist you. After you have completed your business there, you will be driven to your hotel in air-conditioned comfort. When you arrive at the hotel and check in, your tour manager will go over your vacation itinerary with you to ensure you understand the pick-up times for each event. Enjoy a complimentary "Welcome" drink and spend the rest of the day doing whatever you want.
Following breakfast. Begin your day with a visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. On display is a rare collection of 5000 years of art, the world's largest and most valuable collection of Egyptian art. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are on display, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen's collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry, which was kept in his tomb for over 3,500 years before being discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated.
Then, go to the Great Giza Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerions. Cheops is the most massive structure ever constructed. Then there's a close-up of Sphinx, a massive funeral complex guarded by the legendary lion body with King Chephren's face. At the end of the day, we will transfer you to your hotel where you will spend the night.
Check out of your Cairo hotel after breakfast. Transfer to Cairo International Airport and fly to Luxor Airport. Visit the Luxor East Bank ( Karnak Temple - Luxor Temple).
Transfer to your Luxor hotel of choice and Overnight, you will explore the East Bank of Luxor, including the Karnak Temples Complex, which are the largest structures ever built in human history. The main structure is that of god Amun Ra, as it was considered the house of god on earth. The earlier structure dates back to the middle kingdom, but there are some references to earlier buildings dating back to the 3rd dynasty.
Later, you will go to the Temple of Luxor, which was built by one of the 12th dynasty's kings and completed by the well-known king Ramses II. This temple, like Karnak, was located in the heart of ancient Thebes and was dedicated to the main/chief god Amun Re. After finishing your day tour, you will be transferred to your Luxor hotel for the night.
Breakfast. Our guide will pick you up from your Luxor hotel and take you to the West Bank of Luxor. First, go to the Valley of the Kings to see the magnificence of the grandeur of architecture that was used for burial; many kings are buried in this valley. The tombs of King Tuthmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, King Ramses VI, King Mrenptah, and Amenhotep II are the most well-known.
Then proceed to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by Queen Hatshepsut, Thutmosis I's daughter, who ruled Egypt for about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (1490-1469 B.C.). the only pharaonic woman who reigned in ancient Egypt. You will later be able to see The Colossi of Memnon.
Transfer to the domestic airport in order to catch a flight to Cairo. Arrival at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Cairo is where you'll spend the night.
Unfortunately, because it marks the end of your magical Cairo Luxor package vacation, day five of your Cairo Luxor Tour will be a day for heavy hearts and fragile emotions. After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport, where our staff will assist you with luggage and check-in. After that is completed, it will be time to say good-by.
