Itinerary

Day 1 :Travel from Hurghada to Luxor , visit Karnak and Luxor temples

On Trip Egypt representative will pick you up from your hotel in Hurghada, El Gouna, Makadi Bay, Soma Bay, or Safaga for an unforgettable journey into ancient history. Enjoy a comfortable private transfer in a modern air-conditioned vehicle as you cross the vast and scenic Eastern Desert (Arabian Desert) of Egypt. The journey takes approximately 4 hours before you arrive in the world’s greatest open-air museum: Luxor.

Upon arrival, you’ll check into your hotel in Luxor to freshen up before your adventure begins.

Your day of exploration kicks off with a pickup by your expert Egyptologist guide, who will accompany you throughout the day. You’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at a high-quality local Egyptian restaurant, offering a taste of authentic cuisine.
Your first stop is the awe-inspiring Karnak Temple, the largest religious complex ever constructed by mankind. Spanning over 200 acres, it was built and expanded over nearly 2,000 years by successive pharaohs, all in devotion to Amun-Ra, the chief deity of ancient Egypt.
The breathtaking Hypostyle Hall, featuring 134 massive sandstone columns.
The sacred Lake of Karnak, used by priests for ritual purification.
Gigantic statues and obelisks of legendary pharaohs such as Ramses II, Tutankhamun, Tuthmosis III, and Amenhotep III
Karnak isn’t just a temple—it’s a living encyclopedia of ancient Egyptian civilization.
Next, you’ll visit the stunning Luxor Temple, beautifully located in the heart of the modern city along the east bank of the Nile. Unlike Karnak, Luxor Temple was primarily dedicated to the rejuvenation of kingship and was closely connected to the Opet Festival, when statues of the gods were paraded between Karnak and Luxor temples.
Built primarily by Amenhotep III (grandfather of Tutankhamun) and later expanded by Ramses II, the temple boasts.
Majestic colonnades and courtyards.
Impressive statues of Ramses II guarding the entrance.
Intricate hieroglyphics and carvings that tell stories of divine birth and royal power
At night, the temple is beautifully lit, offering a truly magical atmosphere.
After an inspiring tour through the heart of ancient Thebes, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel for a relaxing evening.

Day 2: Hot Air Balloon/ Visit Luxor West Bank / back to Hurghada

Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Experience.
Begin your day with a breathtaking Sunrise Hot Air Balloon flight over Luxor, offering panoramic views of the ancient temples, lush farmlands, and the majestic Nile River. Soar silently above the West Bank, where history, legend, and beauty meet in the early morning golden light—an unforgettable way to experience the heart of Ancient Egypt.
After your flight, return to the hotel to enjoy a well-deserved breakfast before embarking on a journey through some of the most iconic sites of the Luxor West Bank, once considered the sacred necropolis of ancient Thebes.
Your expert Egyptologist guide will then pick you up to begin the exploration.
The adventure begins at the world-renowned Valley of the Kings, the royal burial ground of the New Kingdom pharaohs. Hidden among the Theban hills, this UNESCO World Heritage Site houses over 64 tombs, carved deep into the rock and decorated with vivid scenes from the ancient Egyptian afterlife.
Your guide will select three remarkable tombs for you to explore, tailored to your interests and the preservation level of the artwork.
A special entry ticket is also included for the Tomb of Tutankhamun (KV62) — the only intact royal tomb ever discovered in the valley. Found in 1922 by Howard Carter, it contained more than 5,000 priceless artifacts, many of which now reside in the Grand Egyptian Museum. While the treasures have been relocated, the tomb still houses the mummy of the boy king himself, offering a rare, powerful connection to ancient history.
Next, visit the magnificent Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, dramatically built into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. Hatshepsut, one of Egypt’s most powerful female pharaohs, ruled for over 20 years and established far-reaching trade expeditions, notably to Punt (modern-day Somalia/Eritrea).
Her temple, designed by her architect Senenmut, is a masterpiece of ancient engineering with its terraces, ramps, and colonnades beautifully blending with the natural limestone cliffs behind it.
On your way back, stop at the towering Colossi of Memnon, two massive seated statues of Amenhotep III, standing 18 meters tall and once guarding the entrance to his long-lost mortuary temple. Despite centuries of erosion and earthquakes, they remain a captivating sight and a popular photo opportunity.
Enjoy a relaxing lunch at a well-reviewed local restaurant, offering a selection of authentic Egyptian dishes to recharge before your return journey.
After lunch, your private driver will escort you back to your hotel in Hurghada, El Gouna, Makadi Bay, Soma Bay, or Safaga, ending your unforgettable journey into the wonders of ancient Luxor.
