Day 04 : Optional Abu Simbel /-Vidit Kom Ombo /-Nile Crusie ON

Early morning, you have the option to join an unforgettable excursion to the world-renowned Abu Simbel Temples (optional tour). These colossal rock-cut temples were built by Pharaoh Ramses II and are famed for their grand scale and intricate carvings. Dedicated to Ramses II and Queen Nefertari, the temples were relocated in the 1960s to save them from the rising waters of Lake Nasser—a UNESCO engineering feat in itself.

Return to the cruise ship for lunch on board, and begin sailing north along the Nile.

In the afternoon, your cruise will stop at Kom Ombo, where you’ll visit the unique Temple of Kom Ombo, beautifully situated on the riverbank. This rare double temple is dedicated to two gods: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder, the falcon-headed god. You’ll also see the Crocodile Museum, which houses mummified crocodiles found in the area.

After the visit, return to the cruise for dinner on board. The ship will continue sailing toward Edfu, where you will arrive later in the evening. Enjoy an overnight stay on the Nile Cruise, docked in front of Edfu.
Meals included ( Breakfast/ Lunch / Dinner )

Day 05 : Visit Edfu temple - Luxor temple - Nile Crusie ON

After breakfast on board, disembark to visit the Temple of Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in all of Egypt. Dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus, this magnificent structure was built during the Ptolemaic period and reflects the grandeur of ancient Egyptian temple architecture. Admire its towering columns, detailed reliefs, and sacred sanctuary that once housed the statue of Horus himself.

Return to the ship and continue your journey as the cruise sails toward Luxor, passing picturesque Nile Valley landscapes. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon on deck with lunch served on board.

Upon arrival in Luxor, you’ll explore the stunning Luxor Temple, located in the heart of the modern city. Built primarily by Amenhotep III and later expanded by Ramses II, this temple was connected to Karnak Temple by the grand Avenue of Sphinxes. Unlike many temples, Luxor Temple was dedicated to the rejuvenation of kingship rather than to a particular deity.

After your visit, return to the cruise ship for dinner on board and overnight in Luxor.
Meals included ( Breakfast/ Lunch : Dinner )

Day 06: Visit the kings valley - Karnak - fly to cairo - Cairo ON

Optional: Start your day early with an unforgettable hot air balloon ride over Luxor (optional tour), offering panoramic views of the Nile Valley and the magnificent temples and tombs below — a truly magical experience at sunrise.

After breakfast, begin your tour of Luxor’s West Bank, starting with the legendary Valley of the Kings, the royal burial ground of Egypt’s New Kingdom pharaohs. Explore the beautifully decorated tombs of kings like Tutankhamun and Ramses VI, each carved deep into the Theban cliffs.

Continue to the impressive Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, built by Egypt’s most successful female pharaoh. The temple’s unique design, built into the cliffs, stands as a symbol of her power and architectural innovation.

On the way back, stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have stood watch over the Theban necropolis for more than 3,400 years.

Enjoy a delicious lunch at a quality local restaurant, then visit the awe-inspiring Karnak Temple Complex on the East Bank. This vast religious site was dedicated to the Theban triad and developed over more than 2,000 years, making it one of the largest temple complexes in the world.

After completing your tour in Luxor, you will be transferred to Luxor Airport for your domestic flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, an On Trip Egypt representative will meet you, assist you through airport procedures, and escort you to your hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.

Day 07 : Visit the Coptic Cairo - Transfer to Cairo airport

After breakfast at your hotel, check out and begin your final day of exploration in Coptic Cairo, one of the most spiritually rich and historically significant areas in the city.

Your tour includes visits to some of the oldest Christian churches in Egypt, such as the iconic Hanging Church (Saint Virgin Mary’s Church), built atop the remains of a Roman fortress. You’ll also see Saint Sergius and Bacchus Church, believed to be built on the spot where the Holy Family once took shelter during their journey through Egypt.

Next, visit the Ben Ezra Synagogue, one of the oldest synagogues in Cairo, with deep roots in Egypt’s Jewish heritage. According to tradition, it was built on the spot where baby Moses was found in the reeds of the Nile.

Continue to the nearby Mosque of Amr Ibn Al-As, the very first mosque built in Africa, dating back to 642 AD. Though it has been rebuilt several times, it remains an important symbol of Egypt’s Islamic history.
